SUBJECT: WASHER/EXTRACTOR & CBW PC PROGRAMMERS


Dear MILNOR CustomerLaundry Chemical Supplier:

MILNOR now offers washer/extractor and CBW PC programmers, free of charge, for Mark II and later micro-processor controlled machines.

The PC programmer allows the user or chemist to program a washer/extractor or CBW on a desktop or portable IBM compatible PC. The formula information can then be downloaded via an RS232/RS485 converter and cable set to the MILNOR washer/extractor or CBW MILTRON.

The benefits include:

1. Programming while the machine is in operation, and then downloading formulas - which takes only a few minutes.

2. On-Line help utilities.

3. A "back-up" copy of the formula data for each machine.

4. User friendly programming with the ability to view the entire formula on one screen (in washer/extractor formulas).

5. Microsoft DOS compatibility - for use on all IBM PC's and compatibles - 386 processor and later.

SOFTWARE COMPATIBILITY
Due to the many versions of washer/extractor and CBW software released, it is necessary for us to know the software date code of the machines you wish to program.

Programmers are available if the software can communicate with the machine software. So the machine software must be of a sufficient version or later to support the PC programmer. For more information contact Milnor to determine which version of PC programmers will work with your version of machine software.

If needed, washer/extractor and CBW machine software can be upgraded at the cost of $50.00 per software set per machine on Mark II machines and later. Please consult our Tech Support Group for the best solution if multiple software date codes exist.

The RS232/485 Converter with interface cables from a 9-pin D-connector to the MILNOR 9-pin communication connector is available from MILNOR under p/n KXMDSWBRS1.


MILDATA
MILNOR offers a data collection and reporting system for MILNOR equipped laundries. Features include "on-line communication with all MILNOR machines (Mark II and later)," production reporting and "on-line" viewing of machine status displays from the remote PC.
