SUBJECT: DRYER SPRINKLER TRIP ASSEMBLY

SAFETY BULLETIN

Dear MILNOR Dealer/Customer:

In the recent past, we have learned that there is a possibility the linkage pivot latch on the solenoid in the dryer sprinkler trip assembly can bind in the exit hole of the solenoid box. If the linkage pivot latch binds, it could prevent the sprinkler system from extinguishing a fire. When actuation the sprinkler trip assembly, the linkage pivot latch can bid in either direction in the exit hole.

Enclosed is a set of instructions for enlarging the exit hole in the solenoid box. This should prevent the assembly form binding.
