SUBJECT: LOOSE COMPONENTS ON COIN COUNTER BOARDS

Dear MILNOR Dealer/Customer:

In the recent past, we have had numerous reports of "miscounts" in machines using our electronic coin counter board.

We know of two reasons for these "miscount" problems.

1) The coin count switch is not adjusted properly and is not actuated fully when a coin is dropped.

2) Poor solder connections have been found on the electronic coin counter boards. These poor solder connections allow components to break loose when handled. Of course, no electronic board should be handled in a rough manner, but these boards were extremely susceptible to damage, even by damage in packaging.

Please be aware of these two potential problems so that you may properly diagnosis coin counter problems.

Very truly yours,

PELLERIN MILNOR CORPORATION
